Huntersville is located about 13 miles north of Charlotte. It is the first city north of Charlotte on Interstate 77, (exits 23 and 25). The town is made up of over 70 planned subdivisions and controlled by an agreesive planning board. This board has prepared a long term plan to maintain the quality of life and preserve the town for its fast growth. Over the next decade, the town planners expect Huntersville to double in size and the plan is proactive in building the infrastructure to keep pace with residential development.
