What is there to do in Huntersville?

If Huntersville doesn’t have it, then you will find your desired activity nearby, either on Lake Norman or Downtown Charlotte. Shopping, Restaurants, Parks, Pools, Golf, Pro Sports, NASCAR… you name it.

We love going to the mountains on hot summer days where the temperatures are sometimes 20 deg cooler. The trip is only a 2 hour drive to Boone or Ashville, NC, home of the beautiful Biltmore Estate
If you prefer to go to the beach for vacation, the Carolina Coast is only a 4 hour drive. Myrtle Beach is great for family gatherings. If you want a more private beach, we prefer Kiawah Island outside of Charleston, SC. Stay at The Sanctuary or rent a condo or house on the beach. Go shopping in Charleston.
Huntersville has lots of choices for dining out. Our favorite place is Dresslers in Birkdale village. The food is great. On nice evenings we like to sit on the patio and listen to the music from the band playing in the courtyard. They have great desserts, but sometimes we choose to walk the boulevard and get some ice cream at ColdStone. You can also walk to the movie theatre or have a glass of wine at the Cork Screw. Hey Jeff, Why don’t you list all the things to do in Huntersville. Get specific. Raptor center, Parks name them all. We do many with the kids. Can you add a photo of each place. Good Luck. I would get very specific and show photos if you could.

This is a great place to take the kids for a half day.
